Justin Moorehead is a West Michigan real estate industry veteran, and has served hundreds of homeowners over the last decade, from Grand Haven to Grand Rapids, even down to Kalamazoo. He was born and raised in West Michigan, he grew up as a sports-loving beach kid on the shores of Grand Haven. With most of his family still residing nearby along the lakeshore, the importance of remaining close to his family has always rang true for Justin. He is the middle of two brothers, and he enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephew.
From hand drawing to graphic design, he has always been highly creative and visual. He is one of those people who can visually see things in his mind before making it a reality. This creativity has lent itself to be very valuable when it comes to home renovations and for clients, preparing a home for sale. Justin has flipped houses and has several properties in his portfolio, all of which he has made significant and unique changes to. From his riverfront cabin property that he operates as a vacation rental experience to his 1930s-era stone-clad Georgian-style home on the north side of Grand Rapids, where he lives with his lady and their three dogs, these properties he and his dad have poured loads of concrete!
You see, in his summer breaks from Grand Haven High School & Michigan State University, Justin not only enjoyed playing roller hockey with his friends, hanging at the beach, and going boating on Spring Lake, but before two-a-days with the football team started, he would also work for his Uncle, who built custom homes, and his Dad, who poured concrete. These were tough labor-intensive jobs, but Justin always loved to feel strong, fit, and resilient. This early work instilled in him a great work ethic along with a fortified mental & physical toughness. After graduating from MSU, where he studied the Arts of Advertising, the real learning began when he privately studied the teachings of top industry leaders in sales, marketing, investing, real estate, personal finance, psychology, and more! Right after college, Justin worked as a Marketing Director in the office furniture industry for a few years then joined a real estate investing mentorship company, became a licensed Realtor, and has since never looked back.
In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with his dogs, he loves traveling, golfing, reading, boating, fishing, attending concerts, doing house projects, hosting get-togethers, working out, lifting weights, and training in martial arts, namely boxing, and Wing Chun kung fu.
When working with Justin, you’ll see his demeanor is laid-back & down-to-earth. He is charismatic, and outgoing, while also being highly analytical, intellectual and forward-thinking. He holds integrity in the highest regard, and he has this rule: if he doesn’t give more than he receives, he doesn’t deserve to be your realtor.
